Slight setback

While the Bullant runs fantastically well it turns out I ordered the bogies with the wrong kind of bolster mounting (fixed not swivelling). Although this was entirely my fault, Geoff at the Hollywood Foundry has very kindly offered to modify them to the correct type of bolster free of charge (aside from shipping, of course). So they’re now on their way back to Australia, meaning I have another couple of weeks to work on the steam loco before the Lxd2 project can get going again.

Today’s lesson: Read ordering instructions more carefully. And order from a place with excellent customer service.
