2' on Streetview
narrow-gauge preservation welsh-highland-railwayI love Google Streetview. As a time-wasting device it’s almost second to none. When it launched in the UK last year only major cities were covered but now they have rolled out coverage of around 96% of the country. Which means there’s a chance of seeing some narrow gauge trains passing by as you navigate nearby roads.
Case in point is the A4085 alongside the Welsh Highland Railway.

PS Or how about Monarch (2′ 6″) at Welshpool.
